Stroke
Stroke or vascular accident in the brain or spinal cord can occur in pets, contrary to earlier beliefs. MRI technology has confirmed that dogs and cats do experience strokes, often from blood clots (emboli) formed under conditions of abnormal blood flow caused by hypertension.
