• Contagious to other cats, dogs, rabbits, and humans by direct contact
• Skin scraping under microscope usually diagnostic
• Isoxazoline products (Bravecto, Revolution Plus) effective with single dose
• Selamectin (Revolution), moxidectin (Advantage Multi) also effective
• All cats in household may need treatment
